Meet Rosemarie

Warm. Direct.
On your side.

I’m Rosemarie Patrizio, owner and therapist at Aquarius Rising. I help adults and couples navigate depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges through compassionate, collaborative telehealth therapy.

My style is warm, direct, and nonjudgmental. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you, recognize patterns, and develop practical ways to improve communication, manage difficult emotions, and create meaningful change.

I provide LGBTQIA+ affirming, kink-aware care and welcome people in consensually non-monogamous and polyamorous relationships. Your identity and relationship structure will be approached with respect and curiosity.

In sessions, I make room for you to be heard while helping us stay connected to what you want to change. We might slow down a difficult moment, notice a familiar pattern, or practice a different way to express what you need. We’ll decide together what feels useful, and you can tell me when something isn’t working for you.

I draw on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy skills, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and Gottman Method interventions, tailoring our work to your needs and goals. I’m also pursuing my Doctor of Social Work at Simmons University.

Alongside my clinical practice, I teach university social work courses and bring more than two decades of psychiatric hospital experience, including court coordination and interdisciplinary collaboration. My experience also includes reviewing educational assessments for clarity, relevance, and equity.

It’s okay to have questions.

What if I don’t know what to say?

You don’t need a prepared story or the perfect words. We can start with what feels difficult right now, and I’ll help guide the conversation at a pace that feels manageable.

What happens during the free consultation?

We’ll talk by phone for about 15 minutes about what you’re looking for, availability, fees, and whether my approach fits your needs. You can ask questions before deciding on next steps.

What if we aren’t the right fit?

You can tell me openly. We’ll discuss what you need and possible next steps, including referrals when appropriate. The consultation is a chance for both of us to consider fit.
